I raise Great Pyrenees because of my love for this wonderful breed. They are extremely loyal, intelligent, and gentle with their family and livestock. I feel very lucky to be able to let these dogs do what they love and that is to be guardians. They even love cats! My dogs share the duties of guarding my herd of goats as well as our farm. I have 7 adult Pyrenees that do a fantastic job and are all very much a part of the family as well as being able to perform their chores effectively. My dogs are guardians but they are not isolated with just the livestock. They are very people friendly and love a good petting or ear rub. They are all leash broken and make their yearly trips to the vet for rabies vaccinations or as the need arises.
NOTE* Great Pyrenees have double dew claws on their back feet. This is not a defect and they should not be removed. You should trim them regularly as they do not wear down. The double dews are believed to have given the Pyr's more traction and grip when climbing the Pyrenees Mountains.
The health of my dogs and puppies is always my top priority at all times. My adult dogs are kept on heartworm and flea/tick preventative all year long, and are always up to date on vaccinations and wormings.
Choosing a puppy is an exciting time and a big responsibilty. I am available to answer any questions about my dogs and puppies. New owners are always welcome to come to the farm and visit the pups and choose the right one for them. Sometimes due to location this isn't always possible so I try to be as helpful and accessible as I can. I try to keep pictures updated of each puppy at least every two weeks.

I do not require a questionnaire be filled out however when contacting or e-mailing with a serious inquiry regarding a puppy I do like to know the following:
Are you looking for a livestock guardian dog, farm dog, companion/pet?
What is your home setting? Rural, farm, suburban, city, etc.?
Do you have other animals, pets, children?
Do you have experience with a Great Pyrenees? Do you know the special challenges that come along with owning one? Shedding, barking, digging, laying in your once beautiful flowerbed where it's nice and cool?
Male or female or no preference?
